...NWS DAMAGE SURVEY FOR 12/09/23 TODD COUNTY TORNADO EVENT...


.A survey of damage in southern Todd County, Kentucky finds a
continuous tornado track across the county as part of a longer
tornado track that began in Montgomery County, Tennessee 
and continued into Logan County, Kentucky. The strongest
damage along the track in Todd County was consistent with 
125 mph wind, or EF-2 intensity. Surveys are continuing on 
the earlier and later portions of the track...

SURVEY_SUMMARY:

Hundreds of trees snapped or uprooted. At least a dozen
outbuildings destroyed, including barns, sheds and garages.
Many homes suffered minor damages to roofs, siding, and
gutters. Several homes had parts of roofs removed.
Several broken power poles.
