Bulk Download Help
This bulk download tool provides the NWS text
in a raw form, hopefully directly usable by your processing system.
You can either provide a complete 6-character PIL/AFOS ID or provide
the 3-character base ID (e.g., AFD). The start and end
dates represent 00 UTC for those dates. The Zip format is useful as
the filenames will have the product timestamp, which is useful for
when the product format has ambiguous timestamps.
572 FXUS64 KFWD 071035 AFDFWD Area Forecast Discussion National Weather Service Fort Worth TX 535 AM CDT Wed Oct 7 2026 ...New AVIATION... .KEY MESSAGES... - Quiet weather is expected through the upcoming weekend, with cool nights and warm afternoons. - Low rain chances will return early next week. && .SHORT TERM... (Tonight through Thursday) Issued at 1240 AM CDT Wed Oct 7 2026 Quiet weather will continue today and tomorrow as a surface ridge axis remains draped across the region. Light north to northeast winds will prevail, which will maintain lower humidity and pleasant conditions. Afternoon highs will top out mostly in the mid to upper 80s, with a few areas reaching the low 90s across the Big Country and Brazos Valley. The low humidity, clear skies, and light winds will continue to allow overnight temperatures to fall into the upper 50s to mid 60s each night. && .LONG TERM... (Thursday night through next Tuesday) Issued at 1240 AM CDT Wed Oct 7 2026 After a prolonged period with little moisture, we should start to see deeper moisture creep back into the region late this week as what is currently Tropical Depression 9 moves northward through the Gulf. Fortunately, the proximity of the tropical system will reinforce east/northeast winds across the region, which will keep our tranquil temperatures in place through the weekend. The main change we'll see will be warmer mornings due to the increase in humidity. As we head into early next week, another uptick in moisture is expected with the return of southerly low level winds, which will bring low rain chances back to the region early in the week. We'll be monitoring the potential for additional rain chances and perhaps a cold front mid to late next week as a trough approaches from the west. && .AVIATION... (12Z TAFS) Issued at 535 AM CDT Wed Oct 7 2026 VFR conditions will continue with no aviation concerns. Winds will remain light and variable most of the period. The main exception will be for a few hours this afternoon in which they are expected to increase to 5 to 7 knots out of the northeast. Light and variable winds will resume once again this evening. && .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not expected at this time. && .PRELIMINARY POINT TEMPS/POPS... Dallas-Ft.
