Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
445 AM EDT Sat Jun 27 2026

A cloudy, muggy, and generally wet start to the last weekend of
June across most of Pennsylvania. Expect periods of rain this
morning to precede scattered afternoon showers with a few
thunderstorms possible mainly across the southern part of the
Commonwealth. Conditions will trend drier tonight with areas of
fog before another uptick in rain showers occurs Sunday afternoon
particularly to the south of Interstate 80. Highs on Saturday will
range between 70 and 80 degrees with temperatures trending a bit
warmer on Sunday.

A significant and potentially dangerous heat wave is forecast
next week to start the month of July. High temperatures in the
90s to near the century mark, combined with high humidity, will
result in maximum heat indices over 100 degrees in many parts of
the Keystone state. Stay informed and take steps to protect
yourself from heat related illnesses.
