...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 AM CDT EARLY THIS 
MORNING FOR NORTHWESTERN CLARKE, SOUTHWESTERN MADISON, NORTHERN 
UNION, SOUTHERN ADAIR, NORTHERN ADAMS AND SOUTHEASTERN CASS 
COUNTIES...

At 121 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy 
rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have 
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inch are possible in 
the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin 
shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

  Creston, Greenfield, Green Valley Lake, Lake Icaria, Fontanelle, 
  Orient, Lorimor, Massena, Cumberland, Bridgewater, East Peru, 
  Macksburg, Cromwell, Green Valley Lake State Park, Nodaway Park, 
  Greenfield Municipal Airport and Lake Icaria State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
