...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM CDT
FOR WESTERN APPANOOSE COUNTY...
At 723 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Centerville.
Another severe storm was moving northward out of northern Missouri.
Both storms were moving northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Centerville, Rathbun Lake, Lake Sundown, Moravia, Mystic, Cincinnati,
Numa, Rathbun, Plano, Honey Creek State Park, and Centerville
Municipal Airport.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for south central
Iowa.
