A consistent strong ridge over the eastern Pacific Ocean is keeping northern AZ under a dry northwest flow. Expect generally light winds and a gradual warming trend through the week. Skies will be mostly clear save a few passing high clouds as occasional weak disturbances brush to the northeast. Daytime highs will approach 10-15 degrees and even locally 20 degrees above normal by Wednesday-Thursday. The only other thing of note will be efficient radiational cooling leading to breezy nighttime terrain winds, particularly along/south of the Mogollon Rim. && .AVIATION...Monday 08/12Z through Tuesday 09/12Z...VFR conditions.
