Bulk Download Help
This bulk download tool provides the NWS text
in a raw form, hopefully directly usable by your processing system.
You can either provide a complete 6-character PIL/AFOS ID or provide
the 3-character base ID (e.g., AFD). The start and end
dates represent 00 UTC for those dates. The Zip format is useful as
the filenames will have the product timestamp, which is useful for
when the product format has ambiguous timestamps.
423 FXUS64 KSJT 031838 AFDSJT Area Forecast Discussion National Weather Service San Angelo TX 1238 PM CST Wed Dec 3 2025 ...New LONG TERM... .KEY MESSAGES... - Another cold front will move through the area this afternoon and evening. This will lower highs down into the 40s for Thursday. - Low chance (15-20%) for scattered showers on Thursday, along with colder temperatures. && .SHORT TERM... (Today and tonight) Issued at 100 AM CST Wed Dec 3 2025 Skies are mostly clear this morning across west central Texas with temperatures in the mid 40s. Southerly winds were occurring as a surface trough was developing over the Panhandle. The surface trough was developing on the edge of a strong cold front, which will move southward into west central Texas this afternoon and evening. Ahead of the front, the airmass should be warm enough to support high temperatures in the upper 60s to low 70s. For areas along and north of Interstate 20, temperatures look to only reach the low 60s before the front arrives. The front will continue southward this evening and reach the Concho Valley and I-10 corridor around 10pm. Behind the front, temperatures should fall into the 30s by late tonight. && .LONG TERM... (Thursday night through next Wednesday) Issued at 1231 PM CST Wed Dec 3 2025 Mostly benign weather in the longer term portion of the forecast. In general, upper level trough over the eastern US and upper ridge over the west will allow for a dry northwest flow across the Southern Plains. Several weak shortwaves will move across the area, but limited moisture with them so precipitation chances will remain very limited. Same basic pattern with these waves, with warmer southwest/west surface winds ahead of the system (this coming Saturday and next Wednesday), followed by a cold front dragging a colder air mass into the area (this Sunday and next Thursday). Coldest night over the next week will be Monday morning when radiational cooling allows temperatures to drop to near or below freezing across the area. && .AVIATION... (18Z TAFS) Issued at 1152 AM CST Wed Dec 3 2025 A cold front will move south across the terminals late this afternoon and evening. Frontal passage is expected at KABI around 20Z this afternoon, KSJT and KBBD between 04/01Z and 04/02Z and KSOA and KJCT by 04/05Z. Gusty north winds Will develop behind the front overnight into tomorrow morning, along with stratus developing after midnight. MVFR ceilings are expected to develop and persist across the terminals through morning hours. Could see some very light showers or drizzle develop across the area tomorrow morning, but confidence is too low to mention at this time. && .PRELIMINARY POINT TEMPS/POPS...
