.SYNOPSIS...Warmer and dry conditions return for Monday and will 
last through the week. There is potential for another storm system 
to impact the area over the holiday weekend.

.DISCUSSION...Our low pressure system from the weekend is already 
exiting eastern Colorado this morning, with low clouds and fog left 
in its wake over Arizona. Expect the low clouds and fog to burn off 
by mid-morning, with warmer and sunnier conditions for much of the 
remainder of the week as a ridge sets in.

The looming question though, is this. Will the ridge break down late 
in the holiday weekend and cause travel issues? There is certainly a 
possibility of that, but teleconnections are not very clear and the 
pattern may end up resembling a dry, northwesterly flow that can be 
indicative of La Nina. Something to be aware of, keep checking the 
forecast for your travel plans.

.AVIATION...Monday 24/06Z through Tuesday 25/06Z...Areas of MVFR/IFR 
conditions, especially over the higher terrain through 15Z in low 
CIGS and FG/BR. Some localized LIFR possible overnight. Otherwise, 
VFR conditions with VRB winds 5-10 kts overnight, becoming W/NW 
after 18Z.

OUTLOOK...Tuesday 25/06Z through Thursday 27/06Z...VFR conditions. 
Winds N/NE 5-10 kts on Tuesday, becoming VRB on Wednesday. Locally 
breezy NE winds downwind of terrain features overnight.

.FIRE WEATHER...Monday and Tuesday...Expect drying conditions 
and rising temperatures. Winds will generally be light, but will 
take a northeasterly component by Tuesday.

Wednesday through Friday...Dry and mild conditions with light winds.
