This bulk download tool provides the NWS text
in a raw form, hopefully directly usable by your processing system.
You can either provide a complete 6-character PIL/AFOS ID or provide
the 3-character base ID (e.g., AFD
). The start and end
dates represent 00 UTC for those dates. The Zip format is useful as
the filenames will have the product timestamp, which is useful for
when the product format has ambiguous timestamps.
725 FXUS65 KBOU 251729 AFDBOU Area Forecast Discussion National Weather Service Denver/Boulder CO 1129 AM MDT Thu Sep 25 2025 .KEY MESSAGES... - Warmer and dry today through Saturday. - The next disturbance(s) will be weak, bringing scattered light precipitation late Sunday through Tuesday, mainly for the mountains. && .DISCUSSION /Through Wednesday/... Issued at 130 PM MDT Wed Sep 24 2025 Our weather will be dominated by an upper level ridge which will build and hold across the state through Saturday. This will support sunny skies, dry conditions, warm daytime temperatures, and light winds. High temperatures each day will be several degrees above normal. A weak backdoor cold front Friday night is expected to bring slight cooling (just 2-5 degrees) to the plains for Saturday. The next chance of any precipitation won't arrive until late Sunday as eventually the ridge moves off to the east and a shearing trough lifts out of the Desert Southwest. For the most part, moisture associated with this trough stays to our west, and therefore the main chance of showers and storms will be confined to the mountains and western Colorado. While there is more uncertainty in the trough position and any potential shortwaves Tuesday into Wednesday, there is reasonable agreement we'll stay in some sort of southwest flow. Thus, the main chance of any showers or storms will stay over the mountains and western Colorado. This pattern would also be favorable for a continuation of above normal temperatures through the middle of next week. && .AVIATION /18Z TAFS through 18Z Friday/... Issued at 1128 AM MDT Thu Sep 25 2025 VFR conditions and normal diurnal wind patterns will persist through this period. Once light east/northeast winds establish themselves by 20Z, expect a gradually clockwise turn through 16Z Friday, only to become light and VRB again before returning to east/northeast after 20Z Friday. && .BOU WATCHES/WARNINGS/ADVISORIES...
