Early morning temperatures dropped into the upper 40s in parts of western Kansas near the Colorado state line while upper 50s were common in eastern Kansas. Light winds and mostly sunny conditions are expected today across the state. Afternoon highs will top out in the upper 70s and low 80s. Another chilly night is expected tonight with light winds and clear conditions. Low temperatures will range from the upper 40s in northwest Kansas to the mid 50s in eastern Kansas. $$
