618 AWUS83 KICT 221027 RWSICT KSZ032-033-047>053-067>072-082-083-091>096-098>100-222230- Regional Weather Summary National Weather Service Wichita KS 527 AM CDT Mon Sep 22 2025 Patchy fog was impacting much of the region this morning with areas of dense fog in parts of south central and southeast Kansas where a dense fog advisory is in effect this morning. Early morning temperatures remained mild for late September ranging from the low to mid 60s in most areas. Morning clouds and fog will dissipate with another mild day expected across Kansas. Afternoon highs will climb into the mid and upper 80s in western Kansas while low to mid 80s will be common in eastern Kansas. Storms will begin to increase late in the day over western Kansas. Showers and thunderstorms will spread eastward tonight bringing the threat of severe weather. Low temperatures tonight will range from the mid 50s in northwest Kansas to the upper 60s in southeast Kansas. $$
