Widespread dense fog will impact eastern South Dakota, southwest
Minnesota, and parts of south central and eastern North Dakota
this morning. Otherwise, today should feature more sunshine than

mid 80s. Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms could
develop across the western half of the region later tonight.

Temperatures will remain above normal through Friday. Chances for
showers and thunderstorms also remain in the forecast Thursday and
Friday. A few storms may become strong to severe across the
western half of the region Thursday afternoon and evening.

Widespread showers are likely across much of the region this

Saturday. Slightly cooler but still near average temperatures are
expected for the weekend.
