High pressure remains in control today and the first part of Thursday with dry and breezy conditions. A cold front will bring a chance for showers and a thunderstorm or two across northern PA Thursday afternoon into Friday, but rainfall amounts will generally remain below a tenth of an inch south of US-6. Another Canadian high pressure system will move in for Labor Day weekend, ensuring the continuation of temperatures in the 60s and 70s during the day and upper 30s to low 50s overnight. $$
