Highs today will range from the 80s east to 90s west. On Wednesday, highs are expected to exceed 100 degrees across much of eastern Montana and parts of the far western Dakotas. Elsewhere, highs will be in the mid 80s to upper 90s, but with more humidity. Mostly dry conditions are expected today through the day Wednesday. Wednesday evening, a cold front is expected to move down from Canada bringing chances for showers and thunderstorms along the International Border. On Thursday, chances for showers and thunderstorms will be mainly over eastern and southern portions of the region. Temperatures are then expected to trend much cooler Friday and through the upcoming weekend when highs may only reach the mid 60s to mid 70s, with lows mainly in the 40s. $$
