Numerous to widepsread severe thunderstorms are possible over eastern South Dakota and southern Minnesota this afternoon through tonight. Large hail and very strong wind gusts are expected with any severe storms that develop. High temperatures this afternoon are from the mid 70s in the northwest up to the 90s and lower 100s in across the south. Periodic chances for showers and thunderstorms will continue through early this week. Cooler temperatures with highs mostly in the 70s to low 80s, and lows in the 50s to low 60s, are on tap for through the remainder of the week. $$
