.DISCUSSION...
Light southeasterly winds early this morning pick up to 10 to 15
mph out of the east-southeast as the east coast sea breeze
develops and moves inland. There are no minimum RH concerns near
the burn site today, with fair to good afternoon smoke dispersion
values forecast. Mostly dry conditions are anticipated, with rain
and storm chances around 10 percent. Heat will be a concern near
the burn site, with highs reaching the low 90s and peak heat
indices climbing into the 100 to 105 range. Similar conditions are
forecast into Saturday, though winds become more onshore and
smoke dispersions become poor.
