...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN DICKINSON AND
SOUTHEASTERN OTTAWA COUNTIES THROUGH 815 PM CDT...
At 742 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5
miles west of Manchester, moving southeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow
around unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Solomon, Manchester, and Talmage.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
