...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN CHEYENNE COUNTY
THROUGH 430 PM MDT...
At 341 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Lorenzo, or 10 miles west of Sidney, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Sidney, Colton, Brownson, Sidney Municipal Airport, Lorenzo, and
Cheyenne County Fairgrounds.
This includes Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 44 and
66.
