Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Tuesday Afternoon Through Wednesday

Scattered thunderstorms will develop and move slowly across the
region this afternoon through Wednesday morning. Severe storms are
unlikely, but a few could produce isolated strong wind gusts,
small hail, and torrential rain. There is a slight risk of
isolated flash flooding through tonight, and a small chance for a
brief tornado to develop during the afternoon hours.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday night through Tuesday

Friday through Sunday will be quite hot, with daily maximum heat
index values forecast to be in the 100 to 110 degree range.
