...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM CDT
FOR EASTERN BLACK HAWK AND NORTHEASTERN TAMA COUNTIES...
At 809 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Jesup to 5 miles east of Gilbertville to Vining,
moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Personal weather station reported a wind gust of 67 mph at
752 PM near La Porte City.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Waterloo, Evansdale, Jesup, La Porte City, Traer, Dysart, Elk Run
Heights, Washburn, Dunkerton, Raymond, Gilbertville, Clutier,
Elberon, Vining, and Tf Clark State Park.
This includes Interstate 380 between mile markers 56 and 71.
