TAMA AND NORTHEASTERN JASPER COUNTIES...
At 1255 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Rock Creek
State Park, or 7 miles northwest of Grinnell, moving northeast at 50
mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Gilman, Ferguson, Kellogg, Laurel, Rock Creek Lake, Oakland Acres,
Rock Creek State Park, and Grinnell.
This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 171 and 175.
