...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 PM MST THIS 
AFTERNOON...
...EXTREME COLD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING THROUGH 
WEDNESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills as low 
  as 40 below. For the Extreme Cold Watch, dangerously cold wind 
  chills as low as 55 below possible.

* WHERE...Most of northeast Montana.

* WHEN...For the Cold Weather Advisory, until 2 PM MST this 
  afternoon. For the Extreme Cold Watch, from this evening through 
  Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 55 below zero 
  could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 5 minutes. 
  Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is 
  exposed to these temperatures.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must 
go outside.

To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to 
drip slowly.

Make sure outdoor animals have a warm, dry shelter, food, and 
unfrozen water.

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.

Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure 
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills 
inside.

  exposed to these temperatures.
