.DISCUSSION...
Winds will be on the increase today ahead of a strong weather
system that will bring a round of accumulating snow to the area
tonight and Tuesday. For today, expect winds to increase to 10 to
20 mph with gusts to 30 or 40 after 1500, especially at higher
elevations around the fire site. Precipitation will begin later
this evening, possibly starting as early as 1800 (25th
percentile), possibly as a brief period of rain before quickly
changing over to snow. Snow will pick up in intensity around or
just after sunrise on Tuesday, with winds gradually decreasing
through the day as snow begins to accumulate.

sunny (60-70 percent). Chance of snow and rain
in the afternoon.
