...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM EST THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Pennsylvania, including the 
  following county, Philadelphia.

* WHEN...Until 1100 AM EST.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying 
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 528 AM EST, the gage at Pennypack is showing moderate
    flooding with the gage close to cresting. Flooding is already
    occurring in the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Moderate flooding impacts will continue, but no additional
    rainfall is expected.
  - For Pennypack Creek at Pennypack:
    At 5:20am the stage was 10.41 feet.
    Flood Stage is 7 feet.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most 
flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law 
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National 
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
