* IMPACTS...Damage to outdoor plumbing possible. Expect severe 
  damage to crops or sensitive vegetation, and harm to 
  unprotected pets or livestock.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. To prevent
freezing and possible bursting of outdoor water pipes they should
be wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly. Those that have
in-ground sprinkler systems should drain them and cover above-
ground pipes to protect them from freezing.

  northwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 to 70 mph

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down large objects such as
  trees and power lines. Power outages are possible. Travel could
  be difficult, especially drivers of high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Light to moderate snow showers have the
  potential to impact the Interstate-5 corridor and the northern
  Ventura County mountains Wednesday night into Thursday. While
  accumulating snows are uncertain, there is a 40 percent chance
  of 1-2 inches of snow and a 10 percent chance of 2-4 inches of
  snow. The snow could combine with the strong winds to create
  significant visibility restrictions, along with hazardous
  travel. Portions of Interstate 5 may be affected, especially
  near the Grapevine.
