Early this morning, skies were mostly cloudy with northeasterly winds ranging from 10 to 15 mph, with gusts to 25 mph. With the passing of the cold front, temperatures continue to fall and are currently ranging from the mid 50s to mid 60s. Now, here's a quick forecast summary, for West Central Texas. Generally dry conditions will prevail across west central Texas through early next week. This morning's lows will drop into the upper 40s to mid 50s, and highs this afternoon will only reach into the upper 60s to mid 70s in the wake of the cold front that passed through the area overnight last night. A gradual warming trend will begin on Sunday through mid week, with temperatures reaching back into the mid 80s to mid 90s before the next cold front brings cooler and wetter conditions back to the area late Thursday through Friday next week. $$
