.DISCUSSION...
A low pressure system over Southern California will bring a second
day of cool and damp weather today, although winds will be lighter.
A significant drying and warming trend will develop over the next
few days as high pressure aloft and offshore flow at the surface
develop. Santa Ana winds are expected mainly in the foothills,
with strongest gusts at 25 to 35 mph Wednesday and Thursday.
Temperatures Thursday will rise into the 90s west of the
mountains while relative humidity drops to around 15-25 percent.
Offshore flow and temperatures moderate Friday and Saturday.
