Updated aviation portion for 12Z TAF issuance

.SHORT TERM...Today...Tonight...and Wednesday
Issued at 329 AM CDT Tue Sep 12 2023

A jet streak rotating around the upper low over the Great Lakes
will combine with a weak surface boundary to produce scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms across central and northcentral
Wisconsin this morning and across central and east central
Wisconsin this afternoon. Cloudy skies and a north wind will make
for high temperatures of 10 degrees below normal today.

SKies should clear from north to south tonight, which should
allow for some ground fog and frost formation across northcentral
Wisconsin. Lows will be 5 to 10 degrees below normal.

Wednesday should be mostly sunny and cool as a surface high moves
slowly across Wisconsin. Highs will be around ten degrees cooler
than usual for this time of the year.

.LONG TERM...Wednesday Night Through Monday
Issued at 329 AM CDT Tue Sep 12 2023

The center of a surface-based high pressure system will move over
our area early on Thursday, delivering clear skies, light winds,
and dry conditions into Friday. As the high pressure system
flattens and moves east and south, a front associated with low
pressure in Canada will move in from the northwest on Friday,
bringing a chance for showers. Temperatures will moderate on
Friday and Saturday, but then cool again for Sunday as
precipitation moves out and high pressure builds in once again.

Clouds will increase today as an upper level disturbance moves
across the area. It will produce scattered showers and isolated

expected in most places.

Skies should clear from north to south tonight. Areas of ground fog
and frost are possible north of a RRL to IMT line late tonight.

Wednesday will have good flying weather with clear skies, light
winds and good visibility.
