...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM MDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is 
  expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast Colorado, including the following 
  counties, Logan, Morgan, Washington and Weld.

* WHEN...Until 1100 AM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

    - At 759 AM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause
    small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have
    fallen.

    - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

    - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Merino, Hillrose, Peetz, Logan Corners, Pawnee Pass, North
    Sterling Reservoir, Willard, Westplains, Padroni, Prewitt
    Reservoir, Snyder, Messex and Union.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause minor flooding of 
small creeks and streams, country roads, farmland along creeks, and 
other low lying areas.
