Waters from Fernandina Beach to St. Augustine FL from 20 to 60
NM...
At 528 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. This
thunderstorm was located 35 nm east of Guana River State Park, or 35
nm east of Ponte Vedra Beach, moving southeast at 5 knots.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, lightning strikes, and heavy downpours. Boaters should seek
safe harbor immediately until this storm passes.
