Fire Weather Planning Forecast for the Florida Keys
National Weather Service Key West FL
518 AM EST Mon Jan 9 2023

.Discussion...
A slight chance exists for a few isolated showers this morning,
otherwise, expecting dry weather to prevail through at least
Thursday. A weak frontal passage this morning will lead to winds
increasing slightly by mid to late morning. That said, dispersion
indices will be poor to fair today and Tuesday. Min RH values will
range between 60 and 65 percent during the afternoons with
overnight recoveries to near 90 percentile.

A second frontal passage is expected by Friday afternoon with
freshening northerly breezes. In addition, much drier and cooler
air is expected in the wake of the frontal passage for the
weekend.
