A fragment of moisture increased cloudiness, resulting in showery
weather throughout the day. Rainfall estimates suggested higher 
amounts of around a quarter to half an inch. These rain activities
resulted in the ponding of water in roads and poorly drained 
areas. Maximum temperatures at the Luis Munoz Marin Airport 
reached 84 degrees Fahrenheit today, with a maximum sustained wind
of 23 mph from the northeasterly and a maximum wind gust of 27 
mph. 

A similar weather pattern will hold overnight, with a short break
from rain activity early this evening. Still, another fragment of
moisture will promote isolated to scattered showers across the 
Atlantic and Caribbean waters, moving inland across the windward 
sections overnight and tomorrow. Winds will continue from the 
east, with an east-southeast component later tonight, but under 
the influence of land breeze variations. Low temperatures will 
fall into the low 60s in mountains and valleys, with isolated 
areas falling into the 50s. While in the coastal regions can 
expect lows near the mid and low 70s.

Marine conditions will continue to be hazardous due to the
interaction of fresh to locally strong east-to-east-southeast
winds and a lingering northeasterly swell. Therefore, Small Craft
Advisories are in effect for most of the local waters, excluding
the coastal waters of western and southern Puerto Rico.
Beachgoers, the risk of rip currents is still high for the beaches
on the Atlantic coastline from Rincon to Northeast Puerto Rico,
including Vieques and Culebra.
