This bulk download tool provides the NWS text
in a raw form, hopefully directly usable by your processing system.
You can either provide a complete 6-character PIL/AFOS ID or provide
the 3-character base ID (e.g., AFD
). The start and end
dates represent 00 UTC for those dates. The Zip format is useful as
the filenames will have the product timestamp, which is useful for
when the product format has ambiguous timestamps.
544 FXUS64 KMEG 061145 AFDMEG Area Forecast Discussion National Weather Service Memphis TN 545 AM CST Sun Nov 6 2022 ...New AVIATION... Updated 12z Aviation Discussion. .DISCUSSION... (Today through Saturday) Issued at 148 AM CST Sun Nov 6 2022 Persistent low clouds remain in place across northeast Mississippi and west Tennessee near the Tennessee River. Temperatures beneath this cloud layer remain quite a bit warmer than elsewhere. Areas near Tupelo and Monroe county, MS remain in the low 60s. Areas farther north and west where radiational cooling conditions are more favorable, temperatures are cooler, mostly in the 40s. Morning lows should range from the low 40s to middle 50s. Some patchy fog is possible across the Midsouth this morning, especially where the cooler conditions exist. There may also be some patchy drizzle in northeast Mississippi and west Tennessee where the low clouds persist. It should be mostly dry and a little warmer today across most of the Midsouth. Expect high temperatures in the low to middle 70s. A weak warm front will lift north through the day. This feature may be just enough to ignite a few showers and thunderstorms across the Midsouth late this afternoon or more likely overnight tonight. Warming conditions are expected early next week. Expect highs in the low 70s to low 80s. It appears we will see a back door cold front encroach on the Midsouth midweek bringing cooler temperatures to portions of west Tennessee and north Mississippi while east Arkansas and and other areas near the Mississippi river remain a bit warmer. After midweek, a traditional cold front is expected to sweep in from the west resulting in significantly cooler conditions across all of the Midsouth. High temperatures on Friday are expected to be in the upper 50s to upper 60s. The weekend looks even colder featuring morning lows in the 30s. High temperatures by Sunday may struggle to climb out of the 40s in portions of northeast Arkansas and the Missouri Bootheel. 30/Sirmon && .AVIATION...
