.SHORT TERM...(This evening through Sunday)
Issued at 223 PM CDT Sat Nov 5 2022

Clouds have mostly cleared from west to east today with some cloud
cover still over the far eastern CWA. Temperatures much cooler
today with readings only in the 50s. A clear and cool night is
expected tonight with lows from the upper 30s to mid 40s over the
area.

Sunday is expected to be warmer with upper ridging starting to
build over the southeast U.S. and into the mid Mississippi valley
region. Highs are expected in the mid 60s north to low 70s south.
(normals for this time of year are in the upper 50s to low 60s.

.LONG TERM...(Sunday Night through Saturday)
Issued at 223 PM CDT Sat Nov 5 2022

Should start to see Gulf moisture increase Sunday night into
Monday and an increase in cloud cover over the area. Highs on
Monday will be slightly cooler for most of the area than on
Sunday, but still well above normal. By Monday night into Tuesday,
low level jet sets up in the plains and the western CWA may get
some shower activity, but low pops at this time.

Next upper level trough will transition eastward into the Rockies
on Wednesday into Wednesday night. This system looks like it could
bring some showers to the area Thursday and potentially a rain
changing to light snow Thursday night into Friday. There is quite
a bit of model variability this far out, so confidence is fairly
low with timing and precipitation type at this point.
