Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service Baltimore MD/Washington DC
327 PM EDT Sun Sep 4 2022

Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the
region over the next several days.

High pressure will move offshore through tonight, and a return
flow will allow for more humidity along with a warm day. Showers
and a thunderstorm are possible through the evening, especially
near and west of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

A cold front and upper-level trough will approach Monday through
Tuesday, increasing the chances for showers and perhaps a
thunderstorm. The boundary will most likely settle to our south
during the middle and latter portions of next week. This allows
high pressure to build to the north through the remainder of the
work week.
