...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northwestern St.
Tammany, southeastern Tangipahoa, western Washington Parishes in
southeastern Louisiana and southwestern Pearl River Counties through
915 AM CDT...
At 811 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Robert, or 9 miles west of Covington, moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Hammond, Covington, Franklinton, Abita Springs, Madisonville, Folsom,
Sun, Robert, Bush and Enon.
This includes Interstate 12 between mile markers 44 and 66.
