Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are expected later today and through this evening ahead of a cold front. Some storms may be severe with large hail and damaging wind gusts. A few spin-up tornadoes can't be ruled out. Storms should exit the area overnight Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. In addition, locally heavy rainfall may result in isolated instances of flooding, particularly eastern Central Texas where previous rainfall occurred this past weekend. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday. No hazardous weather is expected. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation may be needed this afternoon into tonight for much of the area. $$
