.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Saturday...Heavy snow will continue
across the Front Range and I-25 corridor overnight tonight,
ending tomorrow morning. Liquid equivalent amounts will be above
an inch across much of the foothills. Cold temperatures are
forecast overnight, with lows in the upper 20s across the plains
and cooler in the mountains. Saturday will be cool with light snow
continuing across the high country, with scattered rain and snow
showers over the plains. Fire danger should be low during this
period.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Saturday night through Wednesday...
Fire weather conditions will be limited by cooler temperatures
and multiple rounds of precipitation, especially snowfall, in the
long term period. Elevated fire weather conditions are not
expected through at least mid-week.
