...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 AM CDT EARLY THIS 
MORNING FOR NORTHERN MUSKOGEE, OKFUSKEE, SOUTHEASTERN CREEK, 
OKMULGEE, SOUTHERN WAGONER AND NORTHWESTERN MCINTOSH COUNTIES...

At 209 AM CDT, Emergency management and broadcast media reported 
extensive flooding ongoing across portions of Okfuskee, Okmulgee, 
and Muskogee counties. A Flash Flood Emergency is in effect for 
Okmulgee county. Between 3 and 7 inches of rain have fallen across 
much of the warned area. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 
inches are possible in the warned area early Thursday morning.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
