.DISCUSSION...
Dry and mild conditions will continue through Friday as high
pressure briefly returns to the region. An approaching system
to the northwest California coast will introduce widespread light
rain showers to the Valley and foothills, as well as light snow
to the mountains. Breezy north/east winds will develop in the
wake of this system on Sunday, with lingering northerly winds
through Tuesday. Rapid warming will arrive to NorCal by Tuesday
and Wednesday next week.
