...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1030 AM EST THIS MORNING...
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of east central Florida, including the following
area, St. Lucie.
* WHEN...Until 1030 AM EST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 838 AM EST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. This will
cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches
of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Port Saint Lucie, Walton, Fort Pierce, White City, Saint
Lucie Nuclear Power Plant, Jensen Beach, Port Saint Lucie
River Park, Indian River Estates, Saint Lucie West, Fort
Pierce South, Tradition, Nettles Island, Collins Park
Estates, Tradition Field, Carlton, Hutchinson Island South,
Frederick Douglass Park and Waveland.
