The pressure gradient will begin to weaken tonight with winds dropping off over inland areas. Below average temperatures tonight will fall into the mid/upper 40s inland...and into the 50s near the coast where light NNE winds will persist. .SHORT TERM [Monday night through Wednesday night]...Surface high pressure centered over the central Appalachians will shift off the east coast on Wednesday. Short wave ridge aloft over the southeast will maintain the dry weather with moderating temperatures. Daily highs will warm back into the 80s. Lows will still be below average Monday night...warming to above average by Wednesday night. .LONG TERM [Thursday Through Sunday]...Another upper trough in a progressive flow will move to the east coast late week. This will bring another cold front through the area on Friday with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms with weak lift and limited moisture available. Above average temperatures ahead of the front will return to average next weekend. && .MARINE...Tight pressure gradient will begin to weaken tonight allowing a decrease in winds and seas. Advisory conditions will end this evening with Caution levels continuing overnight. Winds and seas will be continue the downward trend through the week as high pressure to the north weakens and moves offshore. A cold front will push into the area on Friday.
