.UPDATE...

The precipitation associated with the MCS over Texas has not
extended far into our southwestern zones this evening. Have
trended PoPs slightly down through 15Z to reflect this trend.
Maintaining PoPs in the 50% range over deep east Texas consistent
with redevelopment of precip suggested by the HRRR. 

However, despite the absence of significant precip, cloud cover
extends eastward from the MCS across much of the CWA and looks to
remain with us through the night and should serve to prevent much
in the way of radiational cooling. Further, overnight north winds
will remain below 5 kts areawide, thus advection of dry air also 
appears unlikely. Based on these trends, have increased overnight
lows by a few degrees. /26/

AVIATION...

For the 29/00Z TAFs, MVFR conditions can be expected at LFK, TYR
and GGG as a large area of light to moderate rain impacts our
southwestern zones through much of the TAF period. TS conditions 
may briefly impact these terminals, resulting in IFR cigs/vis 
after 29/08Z until around 29/14Z. Our northeastern terminals may 
briefly see MVFR cigs around 29/12Z, but VFR conditions will 
prevail otherwise. Winds will remain northerly throughout, 
becoming NErly by 30/00Z. /26/
