This bulk download tool provides the NWS text
in a raw form, hopefully directly usable by your processing system.
You can either provide a complete 6-character PIL/AFOS ID or provide
the 3-character base ID (e.g., AFD
). The start and end
dates represent 00 UTC for those dates. The Zip format is useful as
the filenames will have the product timestamp, which is useful for
when the product format has ambiguous timestamps.
557 AWCA82 TJSJ 060841 CCA RWSPR PRZ001>013-062030- Weather Summary for Puerto Rico...CORRECTED National Weather Service San Juan PR 441 AM AST Tue Apr 6 2021 Skies were variably cloudy overnight as a combination of high and low level clouds moved across the region. Moisture fragments from an old frontal boundary aided in bringing showers to the local Atlantic waters overnight, with some reaching mainly the north coastal sections of Puerto Rico. So far no significant rainfall accumulations were observed or reported over land. Winds were generally calm to light and variable. Low temperatures were in the low to mid 70s along the coastal areas and in the low to mid 60s in the mountains and valleys. For the rest of today, another fairly active afternoon is anticipated with the potential for urban and small stream flooding and ponding of water on roadways due to the relatively slow- moving showers and possibly isolated thunderstorm activity. Daytime highs will reach the mid to upper 80s along the coastal areas. Winds will be from the east to northeast at 10-15 mph with some sea breeze variations expected. Hazardous marine and surf zone coastal conditions will continue as a northerly swell invades the Atlantic Waters and Mona Passage, maintaining seas between 6 to 8 feet. In additions winds will gradually increase over the offshore Atlantic during the day. As a result, Small Craft and High Surf Advisories, as well as a High Risk of Rip Currents remain in effect. Choppy marine conditions can be expected elsewhere across the Caribbean waters and other local passages, where small craft are urged to exercise caution. $$ This product is issued around 5 AM and 5 PM each day and weather conditions may change between issuances.
