Weather Summary for Puerto Rico
National Weather Service San Juan PR
418 AM AST Thu Mar 25 2021

A patch of moisture moved in during the overnight hours, resulting
in isolated to scattered showers across northeastern Puerto Rico,
particularly over the San Juan metro area. However, most areas of
Puerto Rico saw calm conditions with light and variable winds.
Minimum temperatures ranged from the mid 70s across the lower
elevations to the low 60s across the higher elevations.

Drier conditions will prevail later this morning and into the
afternoon. However, scattered showers are expected over western
and southwestern Puerto Rico in the afternoon hours. Though
flooding is not likely, ponding water over roadways and in low-
lying areas is possible. The rest of Puerto Rico will enjoy partly
to mostly sunny skies. Maximum temperatures are expected to range
in general from the mid 80s across the lower elevations to the
mid 70s across the higher elevations.

Seas are relatively tranquil, at generally 4 feet or less for the
nearshore waters, and up to around 5 feet for the offshore waters.
Winds will be out of the east-northeast, at speeds of up to 20
knots. There is a moderate risk of rip currents for the beaches of
northwestern to northeastern Puerto Rico and southwest Puerto Rico,
as well as Culebra and eastern Vieques.
