A line of storms will arrive from the west tonight, which may be capable of producing strong or severe wind gusts west of US Highway 281. Storms are expected to quickly weaken as they move east, but may still produce gusty winds and occasional lightning as they move through the I-35 corridor heading into early Sunday morning. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. Low thunderstorm chances continue mainly east of I-35 on Sunday before all activity exits the area to the east by late afternoon. No severe weather is expected. However, small hail and frequent lightning strikes are possible with any stronger storms. Storm chances return by Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday afternoon. Strong storms with gusty downburst winds and hail are possible Tuesday night through Wednesday morning. We are monitoring the severe weather potential with this system.
