High pressure will will remain in place through this evening leading to dry and seasonable conditions. The high will move offshore late this evening and a cold front will pass through the area Thursday. Low pressure will pass by to our west Friday and a soaking rain is expected during this time. There may be areas of freezing rain late Thursday night into Friday, especially near the Mason-Dixon line and the Potomac Highlands. $$
