.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Wednesday...The upper level disturbance
will move east of Colorado tonight with a drying airmass. Skies
will clear with a few snow showers ending by early this evening
over the mountains and southern Front Range foothills. Wednesday
will bring a mostly sunny day with warming temperatures and less
wind over the higher mountains and plains. Smoke dispersal will
remain poor tonight and Wednesday.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Wednesday night through Sunday... The
mountains may get a couple rounds of light snow this upcoming week
with the first round being Thursday night into Friday and another
one at the end of the weekend. Snow amounts will be very light
from these systems. The plains will remain dry Wednesday through
Sunday. Overall, cooler temperatures and light winds will keep
fire danger on the lower side throughout the period.
