The latest data indicates snowfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible Sunday into Sunday evening for the higher terrain of the northwestern Ozarks...with some locally higher amounts possible. The higher terrain of the western Arkansas Ouachita Mountains could also see some accumulating snowfall...with snowfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches forecast...along with locally higher amounts possible. This forecast does remain uncertain though...with forecast snowfall accumulations possibly changing over the next day. There could also be some lighter snowfall further south and east...and in lower terrain. However...the confidence for seeing snowfall in these areas is lower. Another storm system may bring some light snow to portions of the area Tuesday into Tuesday night.
