This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

The threat for hazardous weather will remain low through tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday Through Friday

There will be an increased chance for wintry precipitation on
Sunday into Sunday night...mainly in the form of accumulating
snowfall for portions of northwest and western Arkansas. The
latest data indicates snowfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are
possible Sunday into Sunday evening for the higher terrain of the
northwestern Ozarks...with some locally higher amounts possible.
The higher terrain of the western Arkansas Ouachita Mountains
could also see some accumulating snowfall...with snowfall amounts
of 1 to 2 inches forecast...along with locally higher amounts
possible.

This forecast does remain uncertain though...with forecast
snowfall accumulations possibly changing over the next day. There
could also be some lighter snowfall further south and east...and
in lower terrain. However...the confidence for seeing snowfall in
these areas is lower.

Another storm system may bring some light snow to portions of the
area Tuesday into Tuesday night. However...the confidence in
seeing any accumulation is low at this time.

.Spotter Information Statement...

Spotter activation will not be needed.
