High pressure will push offshore into the NW Atlantic waters tonight as a cold front moves in from the west. Winds will become east-southeasterly at around 15 to 20 knots and seas will build to 5 to 7 feet over the Florida offshore waters out past 20 nm. These elevated winds and seas should lower Wednesday morning. The approaching front is forecast to stall north of the area, keeping moderate southerly flow in place through at least Friday night.
